A2 Business Studies

Course Outline

This is a 1-year course leading to a full A Level in Business Studies. You will study three units covering a range of topics. This course can be studied full-time or part-time.

Entry requirements

An AS in Business Studies is desirable as the A2 course builds on the concepts already studied.

What will I study?

You will study: Marketing, Accounts & Finance; External Influences; Management of People and Operations Management.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is by examination in three separate units. There is a course work option.

The course is very useful to those who seek careers in business, marketing, accounting, local and national government, banking and insurance. The subject fits well with Geography, Law, Business Studies, Mathematics, and the Social Sciences. It also prepares the students for future employment and Higher Education.
