Intermediate Steps in Information Technology (OCR)

Course Outline

This course builds on basic IT skills. You will achieve Open College Network Certificates in Computer Software Applications at level 2.

Entry requirements

A good basic knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database.

What will I study?

Intermediate Word Processing Intermediate Spreadsheets Intermediate Database File Management, Intermediate Powerpoint, Intermediate Internet and E Mail.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is carried out through assignments, which are internally marked and externally moderated. You will be encouraged to work at your own pace and assessment will be carried out at appropriate intervals through out the course.

Career Opportunities & Progression

This course is excellent preparation for CLAIT Plus or more advanced courses.
